The spiritual development of our students is central to the St. Joseph’s School mission.
Our middle school theology approach focuses on engaging the interest of the students through relationship with Christ and with each other, tackling challenging questions, and giving them a sense of belonging, understanding, and excitement. Activities and schoolwork are based on sacred scripture, church history and traditions, the liturgy and the Eucharist, virtues, justice, doctrine, the sacraments, prayer and spirituality.
Specific areas of study at each grade level include:
Beyond religion classes, our students actively participate in prayer, school liturgies, retreats, devotions, and a student-driven service throughout the year. We aim to actively create a mutually supportive environment that fosters a love and desire for God, love and care for one another and a desire to serve the greater community.
