Spring Break and Easter
As a reminder there will be no school due to spring break March 25 - 29.  There will be no school on Monday April 1st due to Easter Monday.  School will resume on Tuesday, April 2.   We hope you all have a wonderful Spring Break and a Happy Easter!

2024 St. Joseph's Catholic School Gala - Registration Closes March 27th!
The St. Joseph’s Catholic School Gala will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel. Still haven't purchased your tickets for Gala yet? There's still time! Registration closes March 27 so be sure to check your email for the invitation or simply click here to register. 

Not able to join us in person? You can still join in on the Gala fun! Watch for more details in the coming weeks about how to participate in the silent auction remotely or make a gift. 

Gala is an important all-school event that raises funds to support all St. Joseph's School families. Together with the generous support of the Parish, every dollar raised at Gala goes toward underwriting approximately $1,500 of the real, per student tuition cost. This enables us to provide a quality, Catholic education at an affordable cost for all St. Joseph's School families. Please consider how you can support this effort and thank you for your generosity!

Spring Uniform Policy
Our school uniform policy states that students may begin wearing uniform shorts on April 1 (April 2 this year due to Easter Monday).  Please use good judgment when deciding to wear shorts as we can still get some cold days in April and all students go outside for recess each day.

Used Uniform Sale and Lost and Found - April 7
Our Home & School Association is hosting our Spring Used Uniform Sale on Sunday, April 7th from 12-1:30 pm. The sale will be held in the school gym. Please park in the back parking lot and enter through the gymnasium doors labeled #11, and head up the stairs.  Cash, check, and credit card will all be accepted.

Lost and found will also be set up during the Used Uniform Sale.  Please come and check for your child’s lost items.  

We are also looking for volunteers for the sale. Please click here for more information and to sign up to volunteer.

We need your old uniforms and Spirit Wear! Please consider dropping off any uniforms or Spirit Wear your children have grown out of. We are especially in need of red polos, small jumpers and small pants/shorts, and middle school girls' shirts in decent condition. Please drop your items in the bin located at the top of the stairs in the main entrance or send them to school with your child to bring to the office. Thank you so much for your support!

St. Joseph’s Middle School Musical - Seussical Jr. April 18-19
St. Joseph’s Middle School proudly presents Seussical the Musical Jr. Thursday and Friday, April 18^th and 19^th at 1:30pm and 6:30pm.

St. Joseph’s School Art Show - By the Sea - April 18-21
Mrs. Lamusga and our very talented Prek-8 students have been working to  put together an amazing Art Show for families to view.  Please watch for more details to come.  The Art show will be held in our Great Room April 18-21.  Mrs. Lamusga is in need of newspaper and brown paper bags (lunch size and regular size) for the art show.  

Donuts with Dads - Thank you!
Thank you to the many Dads and Grandpas that attended our Donuts with Dad’s Event!  Thank you to our Home & School Association and the many volunteers that made this event so special!

Penny Wars for the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus - 1 More Day!
Thank you everyone for participating in the Penny Wars.  It has made for a fun week of friendly competition.  Students will still be allowed to donate coins in the morning when we return on Tuesday, April 2!  We will provide the results in our next Friday letter. This donation will go to the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus to help purchase a new convent in St. Paul. 

Spring Chess Club Registration - Now Open
Spring Chess Club will run Wednesdays 3:10-4:10 pm  March 20 - May 29 (no chess club March 27).  Please click here to register. Chess Club is open to students in grades K-8

St. Joseph’s School Summer Camp - Registration Now Open!
We are excited to open registrations for the Summer Programs at St. Joe's. We have a variety of options for our students throughout the summer.  Summer Program Descriptions and Registration can be found on our school website or by clicking here.  All of our summer program options along with After Hour Kid Power Summer Care are offered under the Parent’s Tab on the school website. Read through the offerings and click the link to register for the various opportunities for tutoring, camps, and academic offerings.

After Hour Kid Power Summer Care Camp 
We are excited to offer the 2nd year of Kid Power summer care.  Hours are 7am-5pm during the weeks June 10th - August 5th (closed the week of July 4th).  Please click here to register!  

Extreme Faith Camp - Registration Now Open

Vacation Bible School (VBS)  - Registration Now Open
Join us for a Radical Ride: On the Wings of Prayer-CatChat VBS on June 10-14 from 9-11:30 am.  All children ages 4-entering 4th grade are welcome to register. Spots are limited, click here to download the registration form.  You will need to print the form and return it to St. Joseph's Faith Formation Office.  

Spirit Wear Online Store 
The STJ Spirit Wear Online Store is re-stocked with inventory.  Orders will be picked within 2-3 days & be sent home with a student/child or left in the school office for pick up.  Click here to visit our online store.

Yearbook Preorder - Now Open!
The St. Joseph’s School Yearbook Preorder is now open.  Yearbooks are pre- ordered online and will be arriving and distributed to students the last week of school.  Please click here to pre- order your yearbook, school ID code is 1075424 .  We do recommend pre-ordering your yearbook as we will only have a limited number of yearbooks available for purchase.

Gerten's Spring Plant Fundraiser - Ends March 28!
Last Call for Gerten's Spring Plant Fundraiser: Ends March 28!  Place your order online and 30% of all plant sales and 15% of gift card sales will go directly back to St. Joseph's School. Feel free to share with friends and family!

How to order:

1. Go to www.gertensfundraising.com
2. Enter the Store ID for St. Joseph's School: 506. 

All orders must be placed by Thursday, March 28 at 10 PM and quantities are limited on fundraiser items! Please order early to ensure availability. Items that are sold out will be removed from the website. 

PLEASE NOTE: ALL ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP FROM SCHOOL ON THURSDAY, MAY 9. Like last spring, you will be asked to schedule a pick-up time. Sign-up for pick-up slots will be available in April. Please watch for more information.
