Report Cards
Families will be receiving Report Cards for their child(children) for the Second Trimester via email today. Upon receiving and reviewing your child’s report cards and progress, parents need to send an email reply to acknowledge receipt of the report card. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions regarding your child’s academic progress or their learning behaviors.
Gala Success
Preliminary numbers for the recent St. Joseph Gala project a net profit of over $150,000! Thank you to ALL who made this important event a success. In addition, we have currently raised approximately $6,500 toward our CSCOE $10,000 Challenge Match for all gifts received post-event. Help us meet this challenge and have your gift doubled here. As noted, part of the funds raised through the Gala are being utilized for a summer project to refurbish our school library (repainting, recarpeting, enhancing our collection).
Donuts with Dads - Feast of St. Joseph Celebration – Friday, March 18
The Feast of St. Joseph, the patron saint of our parish and school, is Friday, March 18. Dads and grandfathers are invited with their children and grandchildren to attend a “Donuts with Dads” celebration on Friday, March 18 between 7:45-8:20 a.m. in the Monsignor Foran Great Room. Donuts and coffee will be served before school as we celebrate dads and grandfathers. Dads and grandfathers are invited to remain for fellowship prior to attending the celebration of Mass at 9:00 a.m. in Church. Please CLICK HERE to RSVP for this wonderful event! Teddy Bear Band - Saturday, March 19
Bring your little ones and join us on Saturday, March 19 at 10am in our school to celebrate the feast of St. Joseph with a Teddy Bear Band concert! Bring your dancing shoes and your smiling faces. Registration and information can be found at https://stjosephwsp.org/teddy-bear-band.
St. Joseph’s School - Middle School Variety Show - Thank you!
Thank you to Mrs. Bowe and our Middle School Variety show participants, including several staff members for a great show! We are very grateful for the opportunity to have this event!
Spring Sports Registration - Extended
St. Joseph's School Spring Sports Sign-Ups are now open for students in grades 5-8. We are offering Baseball, Softball and Track for boys and girls in grades 5-8. Please click here to learn more and to register. Registration Closes on Monday, March 14.
Lenten Service Project - Jelly Bean Sale!
St. Joseph’s School spring Lenten Service Project (work of mercy) will be a Jelly Bean Sale with proceeds going to Mr. Rod Cina, former 5th grade teacher who was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in the summer of 2019. Our 8th grade students (Mr. Cina’s last group of students he taught here) along with the Student Council will be working on this project. Students may purchase a bag of jelly beans for $1.00 in their homeroom on the following dates: March 16, 23 and April 6. Students will then receive their jelly beans on the following Friday.
St. Patrick’s Day - Out of Uniform
Students may be out of uniform on Thursday, March 17 for St. Patrick’s Day. Students may wear green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. We do ask that students follow the out of uniform expectations.
Home & School News
The Home & School Association will be holding their spring used uniform sale on Sunday, March 20th 12:00-1:30pm in the school cafeteria - please enter through the gym doors #11. We are now accepting donations of used uniforms. Volunteers are needed for this event. Please click here to help.
Please feel free to drop off any used uniforms to the school office.

Principal Search Committee
The Search Committee has finished its initial interviews and has made recommendations to Fr. Creagan. Final interviews with Fr. Creagan and the Trustees will be scheduled in the coming days with the hope that a new principal can be announced before our upcoming break. Our special thanks to those who served so diligently on our Search Committee in identifying final candidates.
Middle School Development Day
Our Middle School Staff will be off site for a professional development day on Friday, March 25. There will be no school for middle school students on this day.
Re-Enrollment Fees delayed to March Invoicing
2022-23 re-enrollment fees of $200/family, in addition to winter sports fees (basketball and swimming) will be added to TADS ato the next regularly scheduled invoice for each family, or 3/20/22 if already paid in full. If you wish to discuss alternative arrangements, please contact the Parish Administrator at patrick.menke@churchofstjoseph.org.
A Note from The School Nurse
Over this past week we have continued to have zero reported cases of COVID with our students and staff within the school building; for this we are grateful. Please continue to be attentive to your children's health and stay at home when you are sick.
