St. Joe’s will be participating in the Rosary on Tuesday, October 18 at 9:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to attend. PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES - NO SCHOOL TOMORROW, FRIDAY OCTOBER 14 & NO CHESS CLUB
We are so grateful to the many parents who were able to participate in our Parent Teacher Conferences this evening and tomorrow. As a reminder, there is no school or chess club tomorrow due to Parent Teacher Conferences.
8th GRADE HS VISITS
Our 8th graders are encouraged to set up visits to the high schools of their choice on Friday, October 28 and Friday, November 4. There will be NO CLASSES for our 8th grade students ONLY on these days. Having coordinated days allows students to not miss classes, teachers don’t plan tests, and students can often carpool to the high schools that their friends are going to visit as well. You need to make an appointment with the high schools you wish to have your child visit. Please contact the HS directly.
RESPECT LIFE MONTH
October is Respect Life Month. Our school is having a Layette (baby item) Collection during this month. The collection will be Monday, October 10-18. Please consider donating Diapers size 4-6, Sleepers (12mo. - 2T), Onesies (12mo. - 2T), Baby Wipes, and Infant toys to benefit and support the work of Wakota-a Guiding Star Center in West St. Paul.
YOUNG REMBRANDTS ART CLUB - HOLIDAY SESSION GRADES K-5
There is another session available for the Young Rembrandts Art Club beginning Tuesday, November 15th and runs for 6 weeks. This session is for students in grades K-5. Please click here for registration information.

INFORMATION SESSIONS FOR 2023-24
The 2023-24 enrollment season is upon us! Registration for new students begins on October 24. Information sessions will be offered for all parents of incoming students, ages PreK-8th grade. If you have a child at home you're planning to enroll soon, these events are for you! Join us to learn more about our curriculum, faith formation, and visit classrooms. Childcare will be available, but registration for child care will be required to be certain we have enough child care supervisors available https://stjosephwsp.org/info-session-registration Spread the word to friends! USED UNIFORM DROP OFF AND SALE
Did your student grow more than you thought this summer? We will be happy to take those clothes that they've outgrown next week! Just bag up your clean, gently-used uniforms and spirit wear, you can bring them to school during conferences and drop them to the office.
We also now have a bin where you can drop off bags of used uniforms anytime. It is located in the main entryway to the school, at the top of the stairs, underneath the table. Do you need some clothes to replace the ones you have donated? We'll be having a quick surprise sale from 3 to 4:30 pm on Thursday, October 27, out in the back parking lot.

GERTENS POINSETTIA SALE - NOW OPEN!
The St. Joe's Home & School Association is pleased to announce the Gertens Poinsettia & Winter Greens Fundraiser! 30% of all plant sales and 15% of gift card sales will go directly back to St. Joseph's School - so feel free to share with friends and family! Plants will be delivered to the school on Thursday, Dec. 1 and must be picked up that day.

All orders must be placed by Thursday, Oct. 20 at 10 PM and quantities are limited on fundraiser items! Please order early to ensure availability. Items that are sold out will be removed from the website.

LUNCH ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND OCTOBER LUNCH MENU
We are working with ISD 197 to get student lunch ID’s, During the pandemic, hot lunches were provided at no cost therefore ID’s were not issued causing a backlog of work for district employees. Once we have the lunch ID’s Mrs. Wrobel will email you instructions for setting up your account. If you are interested in applying for free and reduced lunch, please click here.
