Dear St. Joseph’s School Families,
Greetings from St. Joseph’s School! We have had a wonderful week at school as we continue through the month of May. Families will find included in this Friday Letter important information regarding the end of the school year.
“St. Joseph’s Catholic School educates students through faith formation, academic excellence,
and the development of virtue to be disciples of Christ.”
Thank you for supporting our mission and entrusting your children to our care each day. We are approaching the “finish line” to this unique school year.
Incredible Generosity to our School Endowment!
We are excited to announce a significant gift and opportunity for our school endowment. In short, our former pastor, Fr. Peter Wittman, recently left an estate gift of $87,000 in support of the school endowment. Inspired by this generosity and the value of Catholic education, somebody else within our community quietly stepped forward and offered a challenge gift, where they will match the first $100,000 of additional gifts made to the endowment! What a tremendous gfit and opportunity for our school that will benefit students for generations to come.
In the coming days, look for a letter from Fr. Creagan announcing this incredible news. Please prayerfully consider how you might be called to significantly support this important initiative.
Change for School Mass and Invitation
We are so pleased to share with you that our final two Masses of the school year will be in person with all of our Kindergarten-grade 7 students and faculty attending. In addition, it is with great excitement that we invite you, our wonderful school parents to attend the Mass on Tuesday, June 1. This will be a Mass of Thanksgiving and will begin at 9:00am. We do need our students to sit with their class and for parents to sit in the rows near the back of the church as our classes have assigned sections in the church. We hope you are able to join us celebrating the Mass.
Thank You Mr. Beaman
I want to share with you that Mr. Wayne Beaman, our Art Teacher, will not be returning to St. Joe's next school year. Mr. Beaman has accepted a position in business with a local company. We are so grateful for Mr. Beaman's 35 years of service to our school and we will miss him very much. Thank you for sharing your love of art with our students. We wish you well Mr. Beaman! You will always have a home at St. Joseph’s School!

Congratulations to our Preschool children and their families on completing a tremendous year in preschool this week. The children grew and learned so much under the direction of our wonderful staff and the support of our parents. The children completed their school year by presenting a special program to their parents, grandparents, and families. They did such a fantastic job! Thank you parents for entrusting your children to us. We thank Ms. Peg, Ms. Kirsten, and all of the staff for caring for the children during the year. Enjoy your summer! We look forward to seeing them in the fall!
