2020-2021 School Enrollment - Help us make our mission happen and grOW our school!
St. Joseph’s School is the largest ministry of the Church of St. Joseph. The enrollment of new families and students continues at our school. Please assist us in growing our school by sharing information about our school with friends, neighbors, and parish families at Mass, the playground, or at your favorite restaurant. You are also encouraged to invite families to join you at any of our school Masses and/or other special school events (ie; Middle School play, Night of the Arts). Please consider inviting them to visit school with you to meet our faculty and receive a tour allowing us to show them the great things happening in our classrooms every day.
For the 2020-2021 school year, a $200 Referral Credit is available to current school families for each new family they refer who registers to attend our school for next year. Thank you for your assistance sharing our school story and helping us grow our school enrollment for next year.

For Your Information St. Joseph’s School is an important ministry of the Church of St. Joseph. Some of our school families are not members of the parish. In our efforts to serve all school families, our Friday Letter may at times include information about activities and events that are taking place at the Church of St. Joseph.
Urgent Confirmation Information We were notified a few hours ago that the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis has made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming Confirmation ceremonies including ours that was scheduled for Sunday, March 22 in light of the current situation regarding COVID-19 and limiting large gatherings of more than 250 people.
We are aware that this information will be disappointing for our young people who are eagerly anticipating the reception of this sacrament. As we work together as a Faith Formation Team under the leadership of Fr. Creagan, we ask for your patience in this process.
Given how quickly things are changing and the unpredictability of the spread of this virus, it will be very difficult for the Archdiocese to predict when a new date for Confirmation can be scheduled at the Cathedral with the Bishops. In light of the current circumstances, Archbishop Hebda has granted permission for Fr. Cregan and Fr. Wratkowski to administer the sacrament here at our parish. Since we understand that some of our young people were looking forward to receiving Confirmation at the Cathedral with the Bishop, we have a few options for you to consider.
1.
Sunday, March 22, 2 PM at St. Joseph's Church: In order to keep within the limitations set by the Minnesota Department of Health, we will limit this ceremony to only those who have sponsors/guests with travel plans that are immovable and respond the earliest to this request as space will be limited. Each candidate will be limited to 7 guests.
2.
Cathedral with Bishops: We will work with the Archdiocese to set a new date for Confirmation when the situation is more stable. At this time, we are unable to estimate when this will be rescheduled but will do the best we can to reschedule it quickly.
3.
Future Date at St. Joseph's with our Priests: If you would like to receive the sacrament sooner than may be possible through the Archdiocese, we will work to schedule a new date at the parish with our priests as early as possible while staying within the size limitations.
We will need an email response to Jake DeBolt at jake.debolt@churchofstjoseph.org by Tuesday, March 17 so that we can request the needed dates and make arrangements for Sunday.
