ST. JOSEPH’S SCHOOL PARENT LETTER
Administrative Team Update
Dear St. Joseph’s School Parents,
Happy New Year from St. Joseph’s School! We had a wonderful week back to school after our Christmas Break. We look forward to an exciting 2nd half of the school year.
Enrollment for 2022-2023
It’s time for families to enroll for the 2022-2023 school year! Current school families K- 7 will be automatically re-enrolled with the required annual family registration fee applied to family TADS accounts in February. All Preschool and incoming Kindergarten students will re-apply for the next school year. For additional information and/or questions about enrollment for next school year, or if you would like to delay re-enrollment, please contact Lindsay Mayernik, Enrollment Coordinator at limayernik@stjosephwsp.org by January 21, 2022.

Catholic Schools Week January 30 - February 5
We are very excited to celebrate Catholic Schools week at the end of this month. We look forward to celebrating Catholic Education and St. Joseph’s School with special theme dress days. Please watch for the list of theme dress days coming out next week.
Carnival 2022
With ongoing concerns with larger public events with parents and grandparent participation, we have decided to transition our Annual Carnival to a spring event - date TBD. We look forward to working with our Home & School Association and parents to make this an exciting event for our students!
St. Joseph’s School Uniform Dress Code and General Appearance
School administration asks parents to please take a moment to review the St. Joseph School’s Uniform Dress Code Policy and General Appearance Guidelines click here. We ask that parents also review this policy with your child(children). Thank you for supporting your child(children) and St. Joseph’s School by complying with our Uniform Dress Code.
St. Joseph’s School - Middle School Variety Show March 10-11
After much consideration and discussion, we have made the difficult decision to replace our Middle School Play this year with an alternative activity. Due to the complexity of preparing and executing a production that could be easily canceled with potential illnesses and quarantine of students, a more flexible show was deemed a better option this year. We are excited to announce our first ever Middle School Variety Show! Please read more about this opportunity. Thank you Mrs. Bowe for organizing this for our students.
A Note from The School Nurse
This past week, we had three new confirmed positive cases of COVID within our school community week (grades K, 2 and 4). As we seek further counsel, please look for additional information next week regarding the Omicron variant and our ongoing protocols.
