St. Joseph’s Middle School serves our 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Our goal is for each student to graduate from St. Joseph’s Middle School with a love of God, a passion for learning, and the skills needed to thrive in high school and beyond.
As students transition to middle school at St. Joe’s, they move into their own separated space in our building. Our middle school program moves from the homeroom setting of the elementary grades to a structure that features academic specialists teaching each subject area. Students benefit from this team of teachers working with them during the three years of middle school.
As a Catholic school, faith is at the heart of all that we do and teach.
Our Middle School students:
Participate in weekly liturgies
Receive daily religious instruction
Participate in Community service and retreats
Middle school students are given additional responsibilities and we look to them to be leaders and role models for our younger students. Leadership opportunities include:
Student Council
Buddy Program with younger students
Student announcers, song leaders, musicians at liturgies and greeters at open houses
The Middle School curriculum at St. Joseph’s School is designed to advance academic competency and confidence, while increasing accountability.
