A Message from Principal Rickbeil
Mr. Rickbeil has been off site for the last three days on an accreditation visit at another Catholic School in the Twin Cities. In this week’s video, he shares about the value of visiting other Catholic schools to see what we can learn about our own practice. Don’t worry- his car is parked for the duration of the video. St. Joseph’s School - Last Call for Tickets!
The St. Joseph's Catholic School Gala is now just ONE WEEK away and today is your last chance to get tickets to this exciting event!
Gala is our largest fundraiser of the year and has something for everyone - Silent Auction, Live Auction, Golden Tickets, Mystery Bags, the Spirit of St. Joseph Award, moving testimonials, dinner, drinks, plus our first annual Gala: After Hours event featuring live music from STJ alum Kenny McMahon and Ali Gray! Important Financial Aid / Scholarship Deadlines - February 28th
Financial Aid and Aim Higher Scholarship deadline is February 28, 2025. Please note that you are required to apply each year for both financial aid and the Aim Higher Scholarship. Please log into your TADS account and complete your Financial aid and Scholarship applications now. Please do not miss these deadlines. The Scholarships Section of the Aim Higher Foundation website also provides resources for you, including deadlines, links to TADS, flyers in Spanish and English, an extensive FAQ list, and more.
No Donuts, but School Mass Sunday – February 23
Please join us Sunday, February 23 for the 9:00 Mass for School Mass Sunday. We invite students to wear their school uniforms and find Father Luke, Mr. Rickbeil or Mrs. Lamusga for a ticket for a spirit wear pass (requires 2 tickets- 1 per mass) or a piece of candy. We will not be able to host donuts following Mass this week.
Spring Sports Registration
Spring sports registration is now open for our students in grades 5-8. If your child would like to participate in Softball, Baseball or Track for St. Joseph’s School, please click here. Registration will close on Monday, March 10th.
Gerten’s Spring Plant Fundraiser: Now Open!
The Gerten's Spring Plants Fundraiser is back! Get a jump on your spring planting and Mother's Day gifts and order your plants and gift cards today. 30% of all plant sales and 15% of gift card sales will go directly back to St. Joseph's School - so feel free to share with friends and family! Plants will be delivered to the school on Thursday, May 8 and must be picked up that day.
How to order:
Enter the Store ID for St. Joseph's School: 506.
All orders must be placed by Monday, Mar. 31 at 10 PM and quantities are limited on fundraiser items! Please order early to ensure availability. Items that are sold out will be removed from the website.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP FROM SCHOOL ON THURSDAY, MAY 8. Pick-ups will be available in the afternoon along with limited evening pick-ups.

2nd Trimester and Report Cards
February 28th is the last day of trimester 2. Report cards will be going home with students on March 11th.
St. Joseph’s Swim Team- Good Luck!
Good luck to our St. Joe’s swim team on their 1st swim meet of the season! The meet will be held at Two Rivers on Saturday at 12:30pm. Go Jaguars!
St. Joseph’s Basketball Teams
Congratulations to our boys basketball teams who have been playing hard this week during playoffs. Our girls basketball teams will begin their playoffs next week. Go Jaguars!
Kids Heart Challenge and American Heart Challenge: February 24-28
This year, our school is participating in the American Heart Challenge and Kids Heart Challenge through the American Heart Association. Earlier today, the event kicked off with an assembly for K-5 students at the beginning of the day. The goal of the week is for students to learn heart healthy habits they can apply for the rest of their lives. Families are invited to sign up your student to become an official Heart Hero and to raise money for AHA if they choose.

Middle School Youth Group
Calling all 6th – 8th graders! St. Joseph Middle School Youth Group meets twice a month for ALIVE Nights – at time for games, fellowship, formation, and prayer. REVIVE

The Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus will be hosting a monthly Emmaus event at St. Joseph. It will include a time of recreation, a holy hour (with childcare), and a shared meal and you will still be home by bedtime! Please mark the dates, invite others to come along and join us!

SIPPING WITH THE SAINTS
