Planning Ahead for the 2025-26 School Year
Attached here is a preview of the 2025-26 school year calendar, listing all days where we are off school. The NCEA conference will be coming to Minneapolis in April of 2026, so schools across the Archdiocese will be closed the week following Easter as this annual convention for Catholic school teachers returns to Minneapolis for the first time in 16 years. Additionally, we will have a Spring break a week earlier than normal to allow our teachers to enjoy some time away as well.

Increased Partnership with University of St. Thomas Catholic Studies Program
For the past two years, our school has partnered with the Catholic Studies program at the University of Saint Thomas by hosting interns within their program; these undergraduates have been observing and helping in Ms. Erickson’s and Ms. Carlson’s classrooms for the past two years. Next year, we will be blessed to host graduate fellows from the Catholic Studies program, who will be here approximately 15 hours per week for the school year. This is a tremendous opportunity for our school to have graduate students onsite as they prepare for full-time work in Catholic schools, and a great compliment to our school to be working with such a highly respected program at the University of St. Thomas’s Catholic Studies Department.
7th Grade Field Trip to Trinity Woods Added to the 2025-26 Calendar
Next fall, we are pleased to announce that our 7th graders will be attending an outdoor education field trip at Trinity Woods Catholic Retreat Center in Trigo, WI. Several of our students have had experience visiting this camp for Extreme Faith Camp during the summer, and our school will be among the first schools to visit Trinity Woods for a three-day overnight Faith and Science Retreat next October 1st-3rd. This trip will replace the outdoor education trip to Eagle Bluff, which our 7th graders have done the past two years.
