A Message from Principal Rickbeil
It’s been a busy week, from our wonderful Grandparents Day celebration on Wednesday to preparations for hosting our MNSAA accreditation team next week! Rather than post a new video this week, I want to share a video Mr. Reyes and I took part in last week as a final reminder of our October virtue of friendship. It was also a great way for us to enjoy our Halloween costumes one more time. Enjoy the video, and have a great weekend!
MNSAA Accreditation Visit
On Wednesday, November 13th a MNSAA (Minnesota Non-public School Accrediting Association) Accreditation team will arrive at our school to begin their onsite visit. This team will be with us through Friday.
Every seven years schools are required to complete an extensive self-evaluation process based on the standards of MNSAA. St. Joseph’s School’s administration and faculty have been preparing for several months for this visit. We are grateful for the MNSAA team for their time and dedication to education.
St. Joseph’s School Give Day - November 19!
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, Nov. 19 and get ready to give BIG on St. Joe's Give Day! Our annual 24 hours of giving is just 10 days away and we need your help to reach our goal of $60,000. This year's giving focus is on supporting our growing school community. With each new school year, additional staff and resources are needed to accommodate our oldest grade with three sections (this year's 4th graders!) and to help pave the way for all the grades below them. Please watch for more information next week about our Alumni and Student Challenges as well as matching donation opportunities.

Grandparents Day - Thank you!
Wow! Thank you to the over 300 hundred grandparents that joined us for our Grandparent’s Day on Wednesday. We are so thankful for the overwhelming support and joy they brought to this special day.
Thank you students for inviting your grandparents and for the many things you did to have a wonderful day.

New t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, hats & more. Including NEW, unique, giftable items such as handmade headbands, ornaments, a dog bandana & tote bag. The online store is open for pre-orders now until Sunday, Nov 17th at midnight. Please be sure to write in the order notes if the order should be sent home with a student (include student name, grade & teacher) or be picked up in the office / Room 207.
You will be notified in DECEMBER when your order is ready to be picked up or will be sent home with a student.

Food Drive - November 18-22
St. Joseph’s Middle School House Council is sponsoring a canned goods / non perishable food collection to support the work of Neighbors, Inc. Our collection will be Monday, November 18 - Friday, November 22. Please consider helping people in need of food in our area by donating food items during the collection. Thank you for your generosity. Middle School students will be out collecting during morning drop off.

Middle School Youth Group
Calling all 6th – 8th graders! St. Joseph Middle School Youth Group meets twice a month for ALIVE Nights – at time for games, fellowship, formation, and prayer. EMMAUS
The Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus will be hosting a monthly Emmaus event at St. Joseph. It will include a time of recreation, a holy hour (with childcare), and a shared meal and you will still be home by bedtime! Please mark the dates, invite others to come along and join us!

SIPPING WITH THE SAINTS
