April 28, 2022
Dear St. Joseph’s School Parents,
May is the month devoted to Mary, the Mother of God. Prior to the beginning of our Mass on Friday, May 6, we will honor Mary with our annual May Crowning Ceremony. In addition, our students and faculty will be including prayers to Mary in our prayer routines at school. Examples include; the Rosary,
the Hail Mary, the Memorare, the Hail Holy Queen, and the Angelus. Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us!
No School Friday, April 29
There is no school for students tomorrow, April 29. Faculty and staff have a professional development day.
During the Professional Development Day, faculty and staff will formally meet the new principal, Mrs. Ginger Vance. She has also attended Tuesday’s School Advisory Council meeting and plans to attend the May, Home & School meeting.. We are looking for other similar opportunities, and a time for the students and parents to meet Mrs. Vance as well.
Middle School Director
Our school has posted a new leadership position within our Middle School on the Archdiocese ArchCareers website; Middle School Director. The new position will take direct responsibility for the leadership, curriculum, culture and staffing within the Middle School (grades 6-8); the individual will work under the direction of our new principal Ginger Vance. Please continue to pray for the school and these critical decisions as we transition in leadership.

Our second through eighth grade students completed the MAP assessments. Information regarding your child’s progress will be sent home at the end of the school year.
