Dear St. Joseph’s School Parents,
St. Joseph’s School Gala and Raffle - Thank you!
What a wonderful evening and celebration of our school and the gift of Catholic Education! We would like to thank our Event Chair Katie Sullivan and her wonderful team, Sophia Paramo, Shannon Kroon, Kelly Schneeman and Christina Mahady. We would also like to thank our awesome Raffle Team led by Sara Rogers and Alex Fitzer. We are very grateful to them and to the many volunteers that made our school raffle a success! Our sincerest gratitude to Helene Houle, donor of the 2021 Ford Escape. Congratulations to the winner Jenny Loch, a local Catholic school teacher, and neighbor to the Schwartz family! Thank you to our St. Joseph’s Community for supporting our Mission. The financial success of our Gala is still being finalized and will be shared next week.
CSCOE Impact Challenge Grant - Library Refurbishment Project
As a part of our Gala evening, the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence posed an ongoing $10,000 challenge match for every gift we received post-event. To date, we have received an additional $4,450. If you were unable to attend, please consider having your gift doubled here. As noted at our event, part of the funds raised through the Gala are being utilized for a summer project to refurbish our school library (repainting, recarpeting, enhancing our collection). At our previous in-person Gala in 2020, over $20,000 was used to enhance security through the purchase of a new system with cameras at all entrances of the campus.
Congratulations and Thank you ~ Julie Schmid
We would like to share with you that Julie Schmid, 4th grade teacher at St. Joseph’s School has announced that she will retire after this school year. We would like to thank Julie for her 23 years of service to St. Joseph’s School. Ms. Schmid you will be missed!

Principal Search Committee
The Search Committee had a very positive engagement with the entire school faculty and staff this past Tuesday engaging qualities of an ideal candidate, how a new principal can help our staff be successful, and potential interview questions. Initial principal interviews began on Wednesday and conclude on Saturday. Through this initial process, it is our hope that the Search Committee can identify viable candidates for Fr. Creagan to interview with the assistance of his Trustees. We remain hopeful that this important hire can be finalized in a timely manner, in cooperation with many other current improvement efforts.
