Dear St. Joseph’s School Community,
As we continue through November, with the thanksgiving holiday upon us, it is hard to believe how quickly the school year is going. We have experienced many successes and challenges as we navigate through this school year.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17
As we prepare for an extended Thanksgiving holiday break, I believe our school has much to be thankful for;
· Our faculty and staff are passionate and their commitment to our school is inspiring.
· Our students come to school ready to learn using the gifts and the talents God has given them.
· Our school parents continue to offer their children and our school tremendous support.
Most recently;
· The School Leadership Team continues to collect information through one-on-one visits and the completion of surveys by members of the school community.
· Numerous people supported our school through MN Give to the Max on Thursday, November 19. We thank them for their generosity in helping our school carry out its mission.
· Our school families responded generously to our food collection for Neighbors, Inc assisting their work in supporting area families in need.
· The many blessings we have received and those blessings yet to come.
In addition, I believe during these uncertain times, our school will be faced with some additional challenges. It is in difficult times where our school community can come with a common goal of partnering together to provide academic experiences and quality faith formation in a positive environment for all of our students in Preschool through grade 8.
Thanksgiving is a good time for all of us to reflect on our many blessings, and to continue to use our many gifts to benefit our community.
Thank you for being important members of the St. Joseph’s School community. May your time with your family and friends during this holiday be joyful and blessed. Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely in Christ,
Greg Wesely
