The Student Council will be sponsoring out-of-uniform days for $1.00  - April 21 and Tuesday, May 5 (Cinco de Mayo).  Chupa Chup Spanish lollipops were sold in February.  There will also be a jelly bean sale on April 8th and "mystery" Easter egg sale on April 15th.   Proceeds will be presented to Padre Mario in late spring when he visits our school and will go to a new dental health project.

St. Joseph's Preschool is growing!  Due to strong enrollment, we have added an additional Fabulous Fours class, and we now have openings in ALL programs.  Please call to find out more about our faith-filled program of Discovery and Delight for children of ages 3, 4, and 5.  Come for a tour.  For more information, call Annie at 651-789-8300 or click on the preschool link on the left.

Spotlight
Congratulations to the girl's &  boy's Swim Teams who competed in the CAA Finals. 
Boys: Diving took 3rd Place, Juniors took 4th Place  and Seniors took 7th Place
Girls: Diving took 3rd Place, Juniors took 2nd Place, Seniors took 8th Place.





A SPELLING CHAMPION
Josie VanDiver was one of 50 who competed in the 7-County Metro Area Regional Spelling Bee held at Augsburg College this past Saturday.   She qualified by taking an online written test, based on vocabulary words and spelling.
Josie was one of 2 participants representing Catholic schools in the metro area.


Congratulations to our top three winners in the St. Joseph's Spelling Bee who then went on to compete in the Deanery 5 Spelling Bee in Rosemount.  First Place went to Sofia Vaz and Josie VanDiver took 6th Place.


Congratulations to Mary Cecilia Arvidson, Anne Marie Rhoda, Adrienne O'Shea, Emily Westrup, Ynez Arriondo and Lynn Willems who participated in the University of Minnesota, Duluth Honor Band.  Thank you to Laura Saumer, Band Director, for working with these band students.


Students in grades PreK-4 participate in the Good Shepherd Program, a faith-based, hands-on program, as part of their religion curriculum.
